Welcome to SpruillFarm.org

Offering a North Carolina Waterfront Farm for a Conservation Program

We wish to donate our Spruill family farm for perpetual conservation, low-impact public access, environmental research and education programs. The farm has 110 acres with 1,600 feet of undeveloped shoreline on the Albemarle Sound, the largest freshwater sound in North America. We will donate the fee interest subject to an effective conservation easement.

Please read through our documentation which describes the property and gives a vision of our broad objectives for the farm. We have provided both a low-resolution version, 4 MB in size that has been optimized for screen viewing and a much larger, much higher resolution version of the same document suitable for high quality printing. The larger version is 29 MB in size, so if you choose to access the larger version, please give it time to download to your computer.

Both versions of the documentation have exactly the same information on them. You can print it in part or in total.

You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. Although it is already on most computer, you can download and install that software from this link.

Follow this link for a high level map showing the location of the farm. Map
